We are looking for personal assistants for gig work in Jalasjärvi, Mehiläinen Kotipalvelut.

What does the work of a personal assistant include?

As a personal assistant, your duties include helping the customer with everyday chores, such as housekeeping, shopping and hobbies outside the home. The work is unhurried and you can concretely improve the customer's everyday life. The foreman is the customer or a person authorized by the customer, Mehiläinen is your employer.

We are looking for employees mainly for assistance shifts on weekdays, because the shifts are determined according to the customer's needs. We take into account your wishes related to work shifts and we always try to find assistance destinations with the best possible transport connections just for you. We also try to find long-term familiar assistance clients for each employee.

We do not expect our personal assistants to have previous experience in the work of an assistant, because in this job, attitude is what counts! From the helpers, we hope for reliability and the possibility to commit to aid work for a longer period of time. As a national employer, we can also offer work in changing life situations. We expect the applicant to be of legal age, Finnish language skills (at least B1), reliability, self-initiative and a friendly and customer-oriented attitude. As the recruitment process progresses, the assistant must submit a criminal record extract for working with the elderly and disabled.

Salary: €12.79–€14.06/h. Hourly wage according to years of experience: 0 years = €12.79, 5 years = €13.21, 8 years = €13.63 and 11 years = €14.06. In addition to the hourly wage, possible increases in the evenings +15%, at night +40%, on Saturdays +25% and on Sundays or holidays +100%. In a gig employment relationship, vacation pay is paid in addition to the salary, which is 9% of the hourly salary.
